Just finished off the 2 days strategy seminar with 1.Q consult.

Been 2 very interesting and busy days with lots of good energy!
Our business partner in 1.Q consult Bo Westberg did a great job of leading us through all the step in the strategy process – if somebody knows how to plan and implement strategy then its Bo!

2008 was a year with a pretty high growth in 1.Q consults turnover and quite a large chunk came from services to Lithuanian clients – services like export planning, LEAN and strategy planning and implementation.
With the financial crises also hitting Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia its a pretty good guess that exactly services like export planning and implementation, LEAN and strategy planning and implementation will be even bigger for 1.Q consult in 2009 and 2010 – everybody (also us) needs to streamline the organisations and get more sales…

And now its time for some well deserved food here Vilnius – Thomas booked a table at a Belgium restaurant..  gonna be interesting!

Being back in Vilnius again for several reasons.
Strategy and Board Meeting in 1.Q consult on Friday and Saturday – more about it later, but 1.Q consult and Thomas does really have succes with their LEAN seminars and implementations here i Lithuania.

And now Addvisors Vilnius is also starting doing Google Apps implementations and support, which I’m very excited about. First of all I really like Google Apps, its just such a great package and the email/calender/contacts doesnt get more reliable! First client implementation is happening from today….
Addvisors Vilnius and Addvisors Riga is of course already a “long time” user of Google Apps and are now also Google Apps Business Solution Provider.

Please be aware out there – several companies are now receiving scam emails like this one recieved by my company 1.Q consult in Lithuania – I’m in fact wondering if the company ‘TaLiq(HK) Holdings Limited’ is mentioned in more of these scam emails…

And it seems like Joseph and his colleagues from ShangHai Xun Jue Network Technology Inc has already starteded some time ago sending to German companies, too – see these scam emails from ShangHai Xun Jue Network Technology Inc – they have been some busy boys….

Yesterday Casa Klintø CPH was rather booked by friends from Vilnius – both Eugenijaus Barzdžiaus (Giena) and mr. 1.Q consult Thomas Rønlev decided to book a bed on the same evening, so I had to do a ‘first come, first served’-sort of way – Giena in the guest room and Thomas on the air mattress in the living room…
Always great to have friends coming around!

We went to the newly re-designed ‘Den Røde Hund’ (the red dog) cafe – used to be ‘Gokken og Kokken’ – and the place looked really good and the food was nice, too.

Back at the office from 10 nice days in Lithuania, so now its time again for some blogging.

Been at the Addvisors Vilnius office – soon there will be an Addvisors Riga office!

In 1.Q consult we had a boardmeeting where CEO Thomas Rønlev showed us some big and interesting clients using our services and some big coming in soon – more on this later…

And then I used whole last week up in Visaginas with my girlfriend visiting her parents – Visaginas is the Lithuanian town up north with the Nuclear Power Plant ( Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant) providing most of the Lithuanian electricity and with a great area of forest of lakes – a really beautiful area…  and yes, I did swim several times in these clean lakes…..

Today was a great day for 2 of my companies in Lithuania – both had long articles in the local business newspaper Verslo žinios.
Skaiste and Addvisors Vilnius (not affiliated with the former Danish Addvisors, Addvisors GmbH or Addvisors Inc. anymore) occupied the front of the paper with a article about Google and the local Search Engine/catalog Delfi and Thomas and 1.Q consult had 2 pages about LEAN and their newly finish LEAN project for metal company Arginta.
Great work Skaiste and Thomas – so well deserved!

Friday was a great day for a meeting with my 2 partners in the Baltic consultancy company 1.Q consult Thomas Rønlev and Bo Westberg Rasmussen and the balcony at the Esromgade office combined with the nice sun in Denmark made it even better…
Without saying to much it seems like 1.Q consult have had the best 2 quarters ever – and my deep respect is going to Thomas and the 1.Q consult-team in Vilnius + Bo.
