Back again from Oslo!

Monday, June 25th, 2007

After a relaxing boat cruise to Oslo together with my father I was again to be found at the Addvisors office in Copenhagen. The cruise was really nice and good to see my father again - in fact the only small disappointment was the rainly Oslo weather…
I promise to drop some pictures from Oslo here on the blog pretty soon..

Ib’s birthday II

Tuesday, March 20th, 2007

I did only spend a bit more than 24 hours with my father and in that short time I got convinced that even being 81 years old doesnt inflict on his appetite on icecream and cake…. he ate just as much ice cream as I did… and a lot more cake… ;-)

Ice cream at the lunch

In fact he asked the nice people at the restaurant to bring in more ice cream… Thats my dad!

Cake next day at lunch

That was his third piece after lunch…

A nice Cognac

Tuesday, March 20th, 2007

Yes, I do admit I’m not the greatest Cognac fan… usually I prefer a Single Malt Whisky by far!
But this Cognac served to my by my father was really good - do try Chateau de Fontpinot, Grand Champagne, Reserve de Chateau… it was soooo nice!

Ib Klintø’s birthday

Tuesday, March 20th, 2007

My father Ib Klintø had his birthday Friday - 81 years old now…
We were all invited to lunch at a nice restaurant in my hometown Esbjerg… and it was really a nice lunch and great Single Malt Whisky and Cognac afterwards at his home.
Of course my father had no wishes as all… thats news…  ;-)   so I got help from Denice at the Addvisors office - she help me prepare a personal gift card and this is how she imagine me serving homemade sushi and Single Malt Whisky for my father…  please don laugh..  ;-)

Thanx Denice - he was really happy about the card!

Thats the spirit of Xmas

Sunday, December 24th, 2006

Was watching a Danish Xmas tale ‘Jul på Vesterbro‘ together with my brother (and his family until they got tired - of listning to us laughing…) - the tale is made into 24 episodes (surprise) and is great fun, but what really made this evening so perfect was Peter bringing in his Whisky ‘Springbank Port Wood 14 years 1989‘ - I do love Springbank, but this version was soooooo GREAT and made us watch all 24 episodes until 02.30 this morning…  ;-)

And a Merry Xmas from my brother Peter

Xmas at the family in Jutland

Thursday, December 21st, 2006

Now the Xmas eve is soon arriving and tomorrow is the last day at the Addvisors office - Il Doctore K has been preparing Glögg - the raisins has been in dark rum for more than 48 hours…  he’s really a trained PRO!  ;-)

Today I even maked Risengrød (traditional Danish Xmas food - a rice porridge) at home, which was nice….

Will leave for Jutland Saturday before noon and arrive at my brothers house 3 hours later - Peter has promised to take a look at my teeths…  like he has promised the last couple of year…  funny when you have a dentist in the family, then you go less to the dentist…  ;-)

Sunday I will pick up my father for the Xmas dinner at Peters house…  and the next 2 days rumours says that my father has maked some plans for us….
