2 DIA08 nomination and 1 prize…. nice!
A big congratulation to Jens Olesen and his former company Addvisors GmbH for the DIA08 prize together with StarCom and the client Wupti.com - pretty cool that Addvisors even after the sale of the Danish clients and the brand still are getting prizes…
Even though Addvisors clients and brand in Denmark has been sold to notabene.net its still amaze me to see that Addvisors again has got 2 nominations in the Effect prize (keywords) at the Danish Internet Award (DIA08). It’s really makes me proud that Addvisors could attrack and foster some of the best people on the Danish PPC scene…
Unfortunately there will be only one winner on the day…. so I just hope that it would be either Jens Olesen and Addvisors GmbH (the German Addvisors Office) with the campaign for Wupti.dk or Andreas Backe and Addvisors with the campaign for SkandiaBanken.
(Yes, I know that Addvisors is not mentioned as Creative Agency for SkandiaBanken, but I have been promised by IUM that they will correct it…)
Oh yes, I have just come back to the Addvisors office after a signing meeting with Brian Mertz from notabene.net - the fact is that notabene.net has bought the Danish activities from Addvisors ApS - read more at Euroinvestor (in Danish)…
And what will I do then…. lets see… 
Thursday in Vilnius was a really good day, getting Skaiste (CEO from the beginning of Addvisors Vilnius) to joined me as a partner/owner of Addvisors Vilnius was great - Skaiste has been doing a great job for Addvisors Vilnius in Lithuania and I’m pretty sure she wont stop there…

In a rutine checkup by Skaiste Knyzaite, CEO Addvisors Vilnius, she discovered that airBaltic was violating FlyLAL’s trademark in their use of Google AdWords and after a couple of talks with the people at FlyLAL they decided to go the legal way now asking for 1,45 million Euro for the loss of revenue caused by this unfair action.

Google Denmark launched the Danish version of Google Maps yesterday from the morning and in evening they held a small and cosy launch presentation/party at Hotel Skt. Petri in Copenhagen - and a little more in the club Bar Rouge, also in Hotel Skt. Petri. The Addvisors crew from Copenhagen was of course invited…. Thanx to Google for a cosy launch Party.
Google Maps looks like another interesting application from Google and now that the information in boosted with info from partners in Denmark it has the potential to be a nice tools - not least in the version for mobiles.

Today was a special day at Addvisors Copenhagen - today the football legend Manfred Kaltz’s brother paid us a visit - Christoffer, thanx - so nice having you around again.

I’m certainly not the biggest fan of a lot of the modern buildings around the world and the same goes for the ones in Vilnius, where Addvisors Vilnius especially choose the nice Old Town of Vilnius for the office instead of all the new office buildings in glass and steel… yes, we choose a monastery (yes, they do let me in… at least in the office area.. ;-) ) instead of for example the rather new Europe Center that I do in fact find rather cool, too - even though you always know that every office looks like the other when it comes to room size ect…

Had a couple of hard, but also good days in Hamburg with the Addvisors Hamburg guys and Daniel - it was really interesting and fruitful to have a stand at the as:tech Hamburg exhibition - Jens Olesen decided that Addvisors Hamburg should have a stand at this first time ad:tech was having their exhibition in Hamburg - it was a lot smaller than the well established OMD exhibition, but very interesting and the same hard work with 2 days standing up and talking with potential clients….

I’ll be leaving for Hamburg on Monday around noon - going together with Daniel from the Copenhagen office - we’re going to support Jens and Christian from Hamburg at the ad:tech Hamburg exhibition - Addvisors Hamburg will have stand there and Jens Olesen will be speaking at the seminars there (Tuesday 22th at 15.50) about PPC campaigns and how to optimize them … Its gonna be 2 really interesting interesting days, but also 2 busy days…
