Google decided to make a cool video showing how fast Google Chrome is compared to a potato, the sound and the lightning…

Yes, as you can see below Chrome is winning against those 3!

But it didnt take Norwegian browser Opera much time to “reply” with a even cooler and more funny video – DAMN, Opera is just soooo much faster than cooking a potato!

Wednesday May 26th was a “Web Analytics Wednesday” day in Copenhagen and it was really interesting – Steen Rasmussen from IIH Nordic was doing a great job! Thanx!
It was in fact my first Web Analytics Wednesday and I have no clue why…  it was really good!
First person “on the floor” was Piotr Birketoft with an interesting presentation about Web Analytics and why most companies doesnt really implement it, but sticks to sporadic usage of a Web Analytics tool…
Next and last person was
Clancy Childs, Google Analytics Europe. Clancy started with some rather basic Google Analytics stuff, but finished with some of the new and interesing features in GA.
And then the Google Analytics guys had a small quiz with some bags of Google Analytics Goodies as prizes for a right answer..

Look what I won for a right GA quiz answer!
Google Analytics prize goodies

Check out the Google Analytics HiPPO – the back of it says “Squish the HiPPO”… nice
(for noob’s: HiPPo means “Highest Paid Person’s Opinion” and Avinash Kaushik (from Google) think that you should “squish” this HiPPO with knowledge, so knowledge beats Highest Paid..)

And I dont dare to eat the candy – candy from Googleplex could make you do strange stuff…  who wants it?

Next Web Analytics Wednesday in CPH will be August 4th.

I have already been writing several times about Bing and Yahoo gaining extra shares of the of searches in the US and this month they are again on the move while Google goes down a bit!

Bing (Microsoft sites) is now up at 11,8% and Yahoo! sites gained 0,8% to now 17,7% making the combined “MicroHoo” closer to the 30% – at 29,5%!
And Google lost a bit for the second month in a row –  now down 0,7% to a still massive 64,4% – but is still makes it more and more important to remember both Bing and Yahoo! in the Search Marketing activities!

Google is updating the AdWords for mobile interface and it looks really nice, but there is a couple of limitations…

First of all its only for Android, iPhone and Palm, so no Nokia…  and for now its only for accounts managed in US, UK or Australian English…
For now this new interface is only available for a small amount of the English language advertisers, but if you wanna push your Android, iPhone or Palm to the new AdWords for mobile version go to:

The article at the official Google AdWords blog has a video describing some of the nice features of this new AdWords for mobile interface – check it out..
