Per Klix is superior in Tech

Saturday, September 29th, 2007

The other day Per Klixbüll showed he was ‘the man’ when it comes to news in the IT-business and now he just told me that he’s the lucky owner of a Sony PlayStation 3 with the cool game ‘The Elder Scrolls - Oblivion’….  damn it..  and the only game consol I ever had was a PHILIPS VIDEOPAC G7000 back in the 1980′ies with a lousy copy of Pacman called ‘KC Munchkin’.
btw the PHILIPS VIDEOPAC G7000 had an Intel 8048 CPU with the impressive 1,78 MHz speed, 1 KB ROM, 256 bytes RAM, screen resolution of 128 x 64 and 8 colours…
Per, you rule!  but I do think about upgrading to a WII someday…

Danish gangster rapper L. Ron Harald is back with ‘Connie’

Friday, September 28th, 2007

hehe…  good old Danish gangster rapper L. Ron Harald is back rapping in his South Danish dialect about a ho called ‘Connie’…  pretty sweet….
And he keeps it ‘real’ still as horney as a dog like back in the 90′ies rapping about his Open Kadett…  Good fun!

Blackle is NOT news ComON!

Thursday, September 27th, 2007

Seems like the news flow isnt that impressive in Denmark… Today one of the hot stories in our local ‘IT-oracle’ ComON is about Google’s black twin Blackle - in it selves a pretty interesting story about how we could save energy by using a black version of Google instead of the white one… BUT my problem with this story by ComON is that its OLD news! My good old friends Per Klixbüll in Chicago send me a mail about it back in end July 2007 and without being to hard on Per, I’m pretty sure he wasnt the first one to discover about it… so….
Per please remember to include the nice people from ComON in Denmark in all you future mails to me….. seems it would be appreciated…
I’m sure they would have loved you undercover pictures from the new Batman film…

Esbjerg in the weekend…

Wednesday, September 26th, 2007

Some views from being back in Esbjerg….

This is what they call a restaurant in Esbjerg
esbjerg_restaurant.jpg
Yes, its certainly aimed at the fishermen in town, and some would say its a bit too much with all that stuff in the window and inside, but if you compare it to the Irish and English concept bars all over the world you would find this a bit for original…. hint: this hasnt been ordered on shop.irishbar.com ;-)

Copenhagen has its Rundetårn and Esbjerg has Vandtårnet

And the advertising agencies are just as good/sad as in Copenhagen

AND the local football team beat the (former) leader of the league FC Midtjylland 2-0…  nice…   so in fact a pretty good weekend!

Esbjerg Wing for Antonio…

Tuesday, September 25th, 2007

Anyway Antonio hasnt got a wing on his Alfa anymore, but still - I bet he’s in the marked anyway.. . ;-)

What is ’søgeoptimering’?

Sunday, September 23rd, 2007

I know this gets pretty nerdy and then mixed with some Danish words like søgeoptimering , but being in a company like Addvisors helping clients getting traffic/customers from Search Engines I do see a lot of funny words in the business… I mean even the sort of term for part of the business ‘Search Engine Optimization’/ søgemaskineoptimering is not really good - we dont really optimize any Search Engine… we expect Google, MSN and Yahoo to do that kind of optimization…
And what about søgeoptimering - search optimization… I guess its about helping the ‘poor’ user of a search engine optimizing his search so he’ll find what he need… or?
Any other good ones?

SIME Copenhagen 2007

Thursday, September 20th, 2007

Was invited by my friend Jacob Lachmann to the SIME Copenhagen (Scandinavian Interactive Media Event) - a media event filled a lot of interesting speakers and good friends from the industry, so inputs and networking and catching up…
Thanx Jacob!

Nikolaj Nyholm told us about his new company Polar Rose which will revolutionize the way we can search for people in the pictures - by recognition in the picture and not by filename and tags like ‘today’… coool!

And my friends Thomas Madsen-Mygdal told us about the 2 new products in the 23-family - seems like Thomas will be going really commercial… ;-)

Most of the the stuff at SIME was really interesting, but a bit wasnt that new…
And this guys just wasnt ready for more input… maybe information overflow? ;-)
